I ordered this faucet because I didn't really want to drill through my granite countertop to install a RO system, and this seemed like it would be a great replacement for my old faucet that didn't have a drinking water line. When I first opened the box, I was already kind of disappointed. There were no instructions at all- all you got inside was a little piece of cardboard giving the customer support email and the warranty information. I was able to work everything out myself, but if youre not very handy, I'd maybe pick a different option.I got every installed, and it was relatively leak free: except for the INCLUDED cold water line. I tried plumber's tape, thread sealant, tightening, etc. and nothing would stop the leak. It wasn't very big, so I went ahead with the install, and was just going to email the support later... we'll talk more about that towards the end. I got everything hooked up, installed my RO line, and tested it out.I tried the cold water first, and the water pressure was amazing! It was kind of like a mini pressure washer, especially on the sprayer mode, and would blast food off of dishes. Unfortunately, that's the only good part I can mention. I tried pulling on the handle to change to hot water, and the water flow immediately stopped. I left it there for a minute, and never got any water to come out. I tried swapping the hot and cold lines, and then was able to get hot water to come out (by setting the faucet to cold). This let me know something was messed up inside the faucet, and it wasn't something I would be able to fix.I emailed their support to ask about the hot water issue, and eagerly awaited a response. The outcome? I didn't hear anything for an entire week, and when i finally did, the response I got was "Please send me a video to check". Unbelievable! Having already been without hot water (which is half the point of the faucet btw) for a week, they now want me to take a video (to make sure im not lying?), and I'll have to wait another week to hear back. I will be returning this, and going with a different brand that has a working product, and will support their customers.I am not a plumber but I thought to change the kitchen faucet. This product looked appealing because it has the filtered water faucet embedded on the main faucet... that means I don't have to drill in the granite for the filter faucet that came with the filtering system... it looks amazing and works amazing. I put a refund request early on because I thought it is malfunctioning... but then I found out that I didn't tighten it properly ... once I did this, leak stopped and it works like a charm... value is unbeatable. thanks!This faucet is beautiful but there's probably a reason why most high quality faucets are hundreds of dollars. We love this faucet but it leaks. When we turn it on, small beads of water begin to pop up from the base of the faucet. We have butcher block counters and don't want water dripping and sitting on the counter so we will have to suck it up and buy a better faucet.It broke within 6 months and caused a leak that soaked through my floor. I tracked down the leak and it's coming from inside the faucet. There's no way to fix it.It was working fine until that moment but the handle that holds the faucet is too low. There's not even slack to move the faucet around when cleaning. If this was working I still wouldn't rate it that high.What I love about this is having the farmhouse look for my antique sink, without having the high price you see with most faucets. I have an early 1900's cast iron sink with a drain board, and a reverse osmosis system underneath. I wanted my sink and to be able to have the RO without having to drill a hole in my countertop. This was the perfect solution, and super simple to set up.. even a woman could do it.. hehe.. don't take that seriously.. I am a woman leaving this review. ;)Our old home was built in the 1950s and every other month or so something decides to brake. This month it was our faucet.I absolutely fell in love ? with GICASA’s faucet when I saw it on Amazon and knew it was the one for us.I know have to be patient for me son to install it. I just don’t think I can wait! It is so, so pretty!This faucet was good for about a year. After only a year started to rust as seen in pictures. Go with a better quality one if you don’t want to run into this issue. My sink and faucet were new and beautiful and now it just looks terrible.
