This is a very good product. It would be a great product if it were made out of potted metal. One thing you ABSOLUTELY do not want to do....is accidentally install your blade cartridge upside down. It is a mother to get out without damaging either the blade or the plastic base. But I did potato fries and slices with it and it worked like a dream. Buy it.Love this....makes fast work of slicing and no danger of cutting yourselfI bought one similar from a different brand but the thing I disliked the inability to switch out the blades was fixed with this purchase. This also means I can get a better clean once I am done with it the only downside I can say is the handle that moves the blade could use improvement sometimes it stops my chop and I have to push harder or have to pull the handle back to the original position but other than that it gets the job done cuts my time in the kitchen down and is much safer.This is a fantastic product. No chance of taking skin off so safe. Also a verity of cutters. Just make a snack of potatoes cut onto tiny juliennes Could not have cut these by hand easy to cleanTried to wash the plastic cup that sits underneath to catch the food it is diaries distorted and no longer sits nicely under skicerThis tool is very easy to operate. Changing blades very simple. Just not the easiest tool to clean or storeLike the number of blade choices. Blades need some more description on the direction sheet.The chute that holds the food does not stay in place and falls out easily. There needs to be a latch to hold the bottom of the chute in place.
