This lighter is convenient, safe and long-lasting. It comes in a sturdy case with a short charger cord. I got it at Christmas use it five to 15 times a week to light candles and one of the burners on my gas stove that is too expensive to fix. I have only had to charge it once and it was fully charged within minutes. I understand that it can melt if you leave the lighter in a flame for a while after it has ignited but I haven't tested that - I pull it away as soon as a flame has been established. The on tab was very stiff at first, needing a very firm push on, but now it is easy to move. And the sleek look makes it decorative so I don't feel the need to hide it away.
