I just finished installing this faucet and I have to say, it's an incredible value. It doesn't leak, it's easy to install (in spite of the less-than-stellar installation instructions), and it looks beautiful. The ceramic disc valve feels very nice and the water pressure is just right.The instructions do indicate visually which hole to use for the hot and cold water connections, but I had to turn the unit in my hand and look at it from the same strange angle as the diagram in the instructions to be certain. I hooked up the hot water line and tested it to be sure before performing the rest of the installation, and it did match what was shown in the diagram.The product has a fit and finish that defies its price tag. It's packaged elegantly. Everything in the box, including the two braided steel lines, seems to be of high quality. I didn't need to use the included teflon tape during my install--the braided steel lines attached directly to my existing copper with nary a drop of water after an evening of heavy use.
