This was the perfect ceiling light for our dining room. We have recently updated all our fixtures, cabinet knobs and handles in the kitchen. Being an open concept area, we needed to change out our old brushed silver ceiling light. This completed the transformation for this area and we're really happy with the results.The instruction sheet is pretty minimal, but there really isn't anything difficult to do to put it together. I was a little surprised by the size of the holes they made for the screws. They're about 2-3 times bigger than they really need to be. The Allen wrench for the screws is included but you will need a Philips screwdriver to attach the mounting plate to your ceiling junction box. Although it can be done, a helper to hold the completed light fixture so you can attach the 2 mounting nuts at the ceiling would be wise.Overall, a nice looking and well built ceiling light. Definitely recommended.My rating method:1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it.2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk.3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it.4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it.5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.
